Indianapolis is the capital of the US state of Indiana with a city population of around 800,000 and an estimated MSA population of around 1.7m in 2008. It is Indiana's largest city and the 14th largest city in the USA. Most famous for the Indianapolis 500 held each year on Memorial Day. The city is within 650 miles of 55 percent of all Americans, so Indianapolis is a popular choice for distribution centers.
